Miracle Testimony Of Laura Nelson
I had been going to church from the time I was 3 years old. I was a church
member, but had never been saved. I received Jesus as personal Lord and Savior
at the age of 21.
 I had a spirit of death and fear. I was always afraid I was going to die. I
was even afraid to go to sleep at night; I thought I would never wake up. I went
around for a long time feeling of my heart to see if it was beating, to see if I
was still alive. I had a spirit of sickness and disease. The devil would always
make me think that I had cancer, or a brain tumor, or some terminal illness. I
would have strange symptoms and feel strange tings in my body. Along with this I
had a spirit of confusion.
The devil tried to make me think that I would never be saved. There were
times I thought I was going to go crazy. There seemed like a battle going on in
my mind. The devil was pulling one way and God was trying to get me to go his
way. While working on my job, I would ask for signs as to whether I would ever
get saved. I would have to check out so many customers in a certain amount of
time or I would never be saved. I would do this constantly during the day. I did
this for years. I also had a spirit of depression. I would go to bed early, and
listen to sad music on the radio, so I could cry. I was never content, never
satisfied and never had any kind of peace whatsoever. I wanted to kill myself,
but was afraid to die. I did not want to live, but I did not want to die. The
devil had me all bound up and confused. I did not think there would ever be an
end to it.
Then Jesus came to me in a very special way, and I accepted Christ as my Lord
and Savior. After about a year later, God sent me to the Double Portion Church.
The more I went I realized the people there had something I wanted and needed.
They were always happy and joyful. They had a real good time when they went to
church. It was alive there. The people were lively, happy and excited. The
ministers there would preach Jesus as Savior, Healer, deliverer and Baptize in
the Holy Ghost. They preached victory over the devil and over circumstances.
They preached health instead of sickness, life instead of death, and prosperity
instead of poverty. Jesus was preached there as the I AM, not the I was or used
to be. A month after I started attending the services Sister Sarah Banks prayed
for me to receive the Holy Ghost, I did and began to speak with a new tongue.
Jesus became more real to me than he had ever been before. He became a God to
me, MY GOD.
Not long after, I broke my foot behind the toes. I went to the doctor, he
X-rayed my foot and told me it was broken. God just let me know, I AM THE
HEALER, I WILL HEAL IT. I told the doctor I did not want a cast on it, I was
going to get a miracle from God. The next Friday night in the Healing, Blessing,
Miracle Service Sister Sarah prayed for me and God did exactly as He had said,
He healed my broken foot. That night, I was able to dance on what was supposed
to be a broken foot. I needed a miracle from heaven for my spirit, my soul, and
my body. Jesus is doing just that at the Double Portion Church, through Pastor
Hayse Moss and Evangelist Sarah Banks.
In place of fear and confusion, I have great peace and soundness. Instead of
that spirit of death, I have the life of Jesus on the inside and the outside. I
have the Holy Ghost, the Ghost of Jesus. Instead of sadness, I have joy
unspeakable and full of glory. He put a shout in my mouth, a pep n my step and
He has turned my mourning into dancing. God is no respecter of person, He can do
the same for you. Hallelujah!!!
